I’ve always enjoyed the Klipsch RP-260F home theater system. It’s a small, lightweight speaker system that provides a good balance of sound quality and power for movies, music, and home theater. For all the reasons I mentioned earlier, I decided to take a closer look at the Klipsch RP-260F home theater system.
One thing I’ve noticed about Klipsch speakers is that they are generally not that easy to find in retail stores. It’s almost like they don’t want you to buy them. However, it’s very easy to find Klipsch speakers online at stores like Amazon.
The Klipsch RP-260F home theater system is a simple, well-designed speaker system that features impressive sound quality.

Tractrix Horn 90×90 Hybrid
To further enhance high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics, a circular horn throat is paired with a square mouth on the Tactrix® Horn. A compressed molded rubber construction reduces harshness while improving detail by providing high-frequency damping. As a result, the sound is clean and natural.
Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) with Titanium Tweeter
For a more detailed, enhanced performance, linear travel suspensions minimize distortion. As a hallmark of previous Klipsch Reference products as well as Klipsch Palladium speakers, LTS Tweeters are a key component of some of the world’s best speakers.
Spun Copper Cerametallic Woofers
The Klipsch Cerametallic woofer is the pinnacle of Klipsch speaker design, maintaining high rigidity and lightweight construction for minimal cone breakup and distortion. Combined with the Tractrix Horn-loaded LTS tweeter, it is the most efficient speaker in its class.
Tractrix Port has been completely redesigned.
Tractrix geometry allows the Reference Premiere ports to transfer air from the cabinet more efficiently and faster—resulting in the cleanest, most powerful low-frequency response on the market. A modern aesthetic is combined with absolute durability, resulting in a seamless integration into any décor. Magnetically connected for a seamless transition from a powerful showstopper to a discrete performance piece.

Customers’ Reviews
With the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-260F floor-standing speakers, you’ll be able to get great sound again. No high-or low-frequency distortion is present in the sound. -Emeka from Nigeria
The sound in my home theater is great, and I love listening to music. This pair of speakers performs exceptionally well in both formats. Their low-frequency response is about 40Hz. During low-to medium-level listening, these speakers don’t require a subwoofer. -Banky from India
These speakers are known for their clarity. I started off with the RP-260F floor-standing speakers and was blown away by the clarity of the sound. My next purchases were the RP-450C center speaker and the R-112SW subwoofer. During a movie, the clarity of the voices is amazing through the center speaker.
I initially thought the subwoofer was going to be too big, but the base is perfect for music and movies. You can’t tell where the bass is coming from since it is located in the front right corner of our family room. The RP-260Fs will serve as surrounds when we move, and the RP-280Fs will serve as fronts. I appreciate Klipsch’s generosity! –Frank from London
